It is easy to get help if you fall ill or get injured

Your health is just as important as your savings, and therefore it is easy to get help if you need counselling and help about health, well-being and treatment issues.

Health and well-being

Get help with preventive measures, well-being and early intervention if you are at risk of becoming ill, stressed or want to have a healthier lifestyle. The sooner you react to symptoms the better.

Quick treatment

Whether it concerns minor ailments or more comprehensive treatment programmes, we can help you to easily get an examination and quick access to treatment. An early intervention can make a big difference.

Peace of mind and support

We are with you throughout the process, also if you can no longer work. We will help you with advisory services and support and, in worst case scenarios, we can also offer compensation for you or your dependants.

When you call PFA, you will be met by employees with a high level of healthcare expertise such as, for example, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, medical consultants or occupational therapists. You will receive guidance and support whether it concerns initial symptoms, a disease or injury that has already occurred and if you are absent due to illness.

You will get individual assistance tailored to your specific needs. If you become absent due to illness or are about to be so, we will ensure that you have the same contact person who will be with you throughout the process so that you have the best conditions for returning to your normal everyday life.

You will be assisted by the best-qualified treatment specialists from PFA’s quality-assured network or via public sector offers and PFA will follow up on the quality of the treatments on an ongoing basis. You can also get assistance with getting an overview of your options in terms of treatment offers, patient rights, waiting times and patient associations.

Making it easy to get help

Are you ill at ease or do you experience symptoms of stress?

Even mild symptoms of failure to thrive may be the early signs of stress or other mental challenges that may develop into something more serious. Therefore, it is important that you get help quickly - regardless of whether you are experiencing mild or persistent symptoms. The typical signs of failure to thrive are having trouble sleeping, feeling uneasy, anxiety and an impaired memory. These are your body’s signals telling you that you are not OK.

You can book an appointment directly with an Online Psychologist and receive help within 24 hours. If you prefer an in-person consultation, you can call our health advisors at (+45) 70 12 50 00 for assistance in finding a psychologist that suits your specific situation.

Are you in pain?

Pain in your back, a sore knee or a stiff neck can turn the day into a nightmare. Typically, such symptoms will not go away if you just keep working as before, so it is important to address all injuries and ailments before they get too serious.

If, for example, you have a back strain, lower back pain, or tennis elbow, you can receive advice and treatment for the pain from an Online Physiotherapist. You can get an appointment within 24 hours, and no doctor's referral is required.

Book an appointment with an Online Physiotherapist

If you need treatment from a physiotherapist, chiropractor, reflexologist, acupuncturist, or osteopath, you can easily get the treatment approved via My PFA. And if you require physiotherapy, you can book an appointment straight away.

You can also choose to call PFA Health Centre at (+45) 70 12 50 00 and get help and advice from a healthcare professional about the most optimal treatment for your pain. Even minor ailments can develop into prolonged periods of unnecessary pain, so the sooner you call, the earlier you can receive effective treatment.

If your treatment requires a doctor's referral, it might be a good idea to contact your doctor before calling PFA, but you are also welcome to call first to get advice on the most optimal treatment.

Do you have children who are not thriving or who are ill or injured?

Children’s symptoms of not thriving may be expressed in many different ways - from the initial mild symptoms such as unease and nervousness to persistent symptoms such as anxiety, sleeplessness and sadness. This can often impact the entire family, and therefore PFA is ready to help you and your child with advice and guidance.

When children are struggling over a longer period of time and the symptoms become persistent, there may be a need for psychological help or other treatments. PFA is ready to assist you and your child with advice and guidance. Together, we can determine what is needed in your specific situation so that your family can return to a normal everyday life as quickly as possible. You can either receive advice and support about the right help from our health advisors or get online assistance from a psychologist or family counselor.

We can help your child, siblings and yourself, and make it easy for you all to get the relevant support. This can help prevent your child’s mental distress developing and having a negative impact on you or negative spillover effects on the siblings’ well-being.
