Online support from a doctor, physiotherapist, psychologist, family therapist and coach

Sometimes you may have a concern or an issue that you would like a professional help you handle, prevent and possibly treat. As part of PFA Health Insurance, employees get access to Online Health Support via video call or phone call with a doctor, physiotherapist, psychologist, family therapist and coach. This way you can have any concern or issue clarified quickly – whether you are at home, at work or on holiday.

Online Doctor

At Online Doctor, employees will get an appointment with a general practitioner who can help with many of the same issues your own doctor can. This includes:

  • Medical advice and treatment  
  • Answers to questions via email, which will be answered within 1 hour during business hours 
  • Issuing and renewal of prescriptions.

Online Doctor is open 08:00-22:00 on weekdays and 08:00-18:00 on weekends and public holidays.

This service is also available to the employees’ children under the age of 24 and any spouse/domestic partner.

1. Download the ‘Hejdoktor’ app via App Store or Google Play, or go to the web page by using the link at My PFA
2. Log in with your MitID, go to your 'Profile' and select PFA under 'Subscription'
3. Select ‘Familielæge’ (Family Doctor)
4. Add any children under the age of 18 under your profile. Children aged between 18 and 24 must be invited via the app before they can access Online Doctor. This is also the case if your spouse/domestic partner needs access to Online Doctor.
5. You are now ready to use Online Doctor.

Online Physiotherapist

Employees can get counselling and treatment for musculoskeletal pain from an online physiotherapist, e.g.: 

  • Back pain
  • Pulled thigh muscle
  • Lower back pain
  • Tennis elbow.

Online Physiotherapist is open 08:00-21:00 on weekdays and 08:00-18:00 on weekends and public holidays. Employees do not need a doctor’s referral and, based on a medical assessment, employees can get up to six consultations.

This service is also available to the employees’ children under the age of 24.

Online Psychologist

  • Exam anxiety
  • Sleep problems
  • Distress and stress symptoms
  • Sadness and anxiety attacks.

Online Psychologist is open 08:00-21:00 on weekdays and 09:00-14:00 on Saturdays. Employees can usually get an appointment within 24 hours and do not need a doctor’s referral. Based on a medical assessment, employees can get up to six consultations.

This service is also available to the employees’ children between 12 and 24 years of age.

Online Family Therapist

Employees can get advice and guidance from an online family therapist to address challenges and concerns related to the employees’ children’s well-being and development. This includes: 

  • Well-being at school
  • Relationships
  • The digital balance at home
  • Family events such as serious illness in the immediate family or divorce.

Based on a medical assessment, employees can get up to four consultations, and a maximum of one course of consultations per year and a maximum of six courses of consultations while they have their health insurance.

Online Family Therapist is open 08:00-21:00 on weekdays and 09:00-14:00 on Saturdays. Employees can usually get an appointment within 24 hours and do not need a doctor’s referral or prior approval from PFA.

Online Coach

With Online Coach, employees can get advice and guidance on how to deal with life challenges and changes before they turn into distress and stress. This includes: 

  • Education and first job
  • Work
  • Career
  • Creating and maintaining balance in life. 

Based on a medical assessment, employees can get up to four consultations, and a maximum of one course of consultations per year and a maximum of six courses of consultations while they have their health insurance.

This service is also available to the employees’ children between 15 and 24 years of age.

Online Coach is open 08:00-21:00 on weekdays and 09:00-14:00 on Saturdays. Employees can usually get an appointment within 24 hours and do not need a doctor’s referral or prior approval from PFA.
