Have you received a notification of illness?
With PFA EarlyCare, you have access to help and guidance from PFA’s social and healthcare specialists if you get a notification of illness. PFA will help you clarify your state of health and assess whether early intervention will help you return to work sooner.
You are automatically covered by PFA EarlyCare if you have a pension plan with PFA that includes the insurance plan PFA Occupational Capacity.

Do you need medical assistance?
As part of PFA Health Insurance, you can now get medical advice from a general practitioner via video, phone or email all weekdays from 8:00 - 22:00 and during weekends/holidays from 8:00 - 18:00. Any spouse/domestic partner as well as children under the age of 24 will also have access to Online Doctor.
Do you need an examination, treatment or surgery?
Then, PFA Health Insurance will lend you a helping hand. First of all, you need to contact your own doctor, who will assess your need for treatment and refer you to examination, treatment or surgery if necessary.
Then, you contact PFA’s Health Centre at (+45) 70 12 50 00, where examination and treatment will often be approved immediately over the phone.

Has your occupational capacity been reduced?
If you fall ill or are involved in an accident and become unable to work, you may qualify for a payout from PFA Occupational Capacity. You will be eligible for payouts if both your occupational capacity and earnings capacity have been reduced to a degree qualifying for cover for a minimum of three months. The insurance will be paid out regularly until you attain the age of 67 or until your occupational capacity has improved.

Please note that this insurance plan is voluntary if you are employed as a civil servant.
Have you been diagnosed with a critical illness?
If you are diagnosed with a critical illness, you may qualify for a tax-free lump sum from PFA Critical Illness. This can give you some financial breathing space during a difficult period.
