PFA building awarded by Copenhagen Municipality

The large cylindrical building "Spidsen," located at the very edge of Nordø in Copenhagen's Nordhavn, has been awarded.
The office building "Spidsen," which concludes the Århusgadekvarteret, has now been awarded at the Copenhagen Municipality's annual Building Awards.
Standing 60 meters tall and featuring its iconic 12,000 sqm round facade with a 360-degree panoramic view, the award-winning building has already become a striking landmark in Copenhagen.
The building, owned by PFA and designed by architects Vilhelm Lauritzen Arkitekter and Cobe, is distinguished by its large 14-story publicly accessible atrium in the center of the building.
Awarded Buildings
Since as far back as 1903, Copenhagen Municipality has been awarding buildings around the capital that have added special quality to the city through remarkable architecture, and this year it is PFA's building "Spidsen," which has been awarded along with eight other buildings.
The judging panel consists of representatives from the Culture and Leisure Committee, experts appointed by the Academic Architects Association, IDA/Engineering Association Denmark, as well as the city architect and architects from the Technical and Environmental Administration.
