Get access to preventive care and treatment
Your pension plan includes a number of insurance plans that provide cover if you fall ill or get injured.
Do you need advice on lifestyle changes, a personal crisis or similar?
If you feel physically or mentally unfit, PFA Healthcare Hotline can help you recover. PFA Healthcare Hotline is a health insurance feature which offers you advice, guidance and support over the phone regarding questions related to your everyday life. The advisers are ready to provide assistance regarding issues that relate to your working life as well as your private life, such as sleep, well-being, exercise, weight loss, smoking cessation, stress, personal crises, lifestyle changes, serious illness, death or substance abuse. The advisers all have a professional social care background, and they can help you with physical, mental and social problems – whether they are large or small. The consultation may be a single conversation or a programme with up to four conversations.
You can call the Healthcare Hotline at (+45) 70 12 50 00 all weekdays from 8:15 to 16:15.
Do you need an examination, treatment or surgery?
If you are covered by PFA Health Insurance, you have access to quick help if you fall ill, are experiencing pain or get injured. The insurance plan offers you the possibility of receiving treatment by a physiotherapist, chiropractor, reflexologist, acupuncturist, osteopath, etc. For instance, you may also get quick help from a psychologist specialised in stress if you experience stress symptoms.
In both cases, treatment must be approved by PFA Health Centre, however, a doctor’s referral is not required. If you need any other types of treatment, examination or surgery, you, first of all, need to contact your own doctor, who can assess your need for treatment.
Please contact PFA Health Centre at (+45) 70 12 50 00, where examination and treatment will often be approved immediately over the phone.
