Welcome to Novo Nordisk A/S

As an employee with Novo Nordisk A/S, you will get an attractive pension plan that includes an insurance package and a savings plan.

Payments to your pension plan

Your pension plan consists of an insurance package and a savings plan. Novo Nordisk A/S pays 10 per cent of your salary to your pension plan and you must pay 5 per cent. In addition, Novo Nordisk A/S pays for the insurance plans PFA Life (including children's pension), PFA Critical Illness and PFA Health Insurance.

Your investment profile should match your return expectations and risk appetite

Your savings are placed in either PFA Plus (market rate environment), where the return follows the market or PFA Traditional (average interest rate environment).

If your savings are placed in the market rate environment, your savings are, as a starting point, placed in investment profile B. Additionally, you can choose to invest all or a part of your savings with particular focus on climate-friendly investments in PFA Climate Plus. At My PFA, you also find the Investment Guide which can provide you with an overview of which investment profile and share in PFA Climate Plus that best suits your expectations of return and risk as well as your preferences when it comes to climate focus. Here, you can also switch to investment profile A or C free of charge. You can also choose to place your own share of the payments plus any voluntary payments in investment profile D, which has the highest risk, or in You Invest, which allows you to select the exact funds you want to place your savings in.

Are your savings sufficient?

What kind of retirement are you dreaming of? And, are you saving enough to live out your dreams? The Pension Plan at My PFA can help you find the answer. Here, you will, among other things, find your Pension Estimate, which illustrates how much of your present income you can expect to have at your disposal when you retire.

For example, if your Pension Estimate is 80, it means that you will have approximately 80 % of your present monthly salary after tax at your disposal for 20 years from the day you retire.

Adjust your insurance cover to match your and your family’s needs

As a starting point, you get a basic insurance package that can be adjusted to match your and your family’s specific needs. At My PFA, you can see your current insurance cover, and, if you submit some personal information, you can get our recommendation for what level of insurance cover that matches your and your family’s situation. You can also retrieve information from PensionsInfo and get a complete recommendation.

Book a pension consultation

PFA recommends that you review your pension plan regularly and check up on whether it still suits your life and needs. Does your insurance coverage still match the needs of you and your family? Does your investment profile reflect your return expectations and risk appetite?

It is up to you whether you prefer a consultation at your workplace or an online consultation. A consultation at your workplace takes place during the day. The scope of an online consultation is identical, but instead you talk via Microsoft Teams. This type of consultation is more flexible and makes it possible for you to sit at home and potentially invite your spouse or cohabiting partner to join the consultation.
