New management team in PFA Asset Management

PFA Asset Management has appointed Henrik Nøhr Poulsen head of shares and alternative investments. At the same time, he joins the executive board of PFA Asset Management.

Henrik Nøhr Poulsen comes from Industriens Pension, where he held the position as head of investments. He will take up his new position in PFA Asset Management on 1 December 2015.

The future executive board of PFA Asset Management will consist of Henrik Nøhr Poulsen and the newly appointed directors Christian Lindstrøm Lage and Rasmus Bessing. Christian Lindstrøm Lage is responsible for interest and credit, whereas Rasmus Bessing is responsible for Back and Middle Office. Henrik Henriksen, PFA’s chief strategist, will continue as part of the management team of PFA’s investment and risk area with a special responsibility for investment strategy, customers’ mandates and communication.

Anders Damgaard, Group CFO, holds the overall responsibility for PFA’s investment strategies, including PFA Asset Management’s activities.

“It is with great pleasure that we now announce that we are ready with a strengthened and future-oriented PFA Asset Management team. We used the present strong team as our starting point and then we identified some areas that needed further reinforcement,” Anders Damgaard says.

He points out that the new management team is based on the very strong investment team that PFA already has, with the addition of a couple of new faces.

“At the same time, we have brought in Erik Hallarth, who is investment manager at AP Pension, to take the position as PFA’s Chief Portfolio Manager, and Henrik Nordestgaard, who, throughout the past years, has served as director in Barclays Capital in London, will also join PFA Asset Management before long. Together with our existing investment experts, these new additions to the team will form an incredible strong and competent group that will ensure PFA’s customers a long-term and solid return,” Anders Damgaard concludes.
