Welcome to Novo Nordisk

At Novo Nordisk, we believe that it is important that our employees can afford to live life after retirement. Therefore, you will, as part of your employment, get a pension plan that allows you to obtain a favourable return on your savings so that you have a solid financial base when you retire. Your pension plan also acts as a financial safety net for you and your family right here and now if you should fall ill or get injured.

Your pension savings

You will be covered by your pension plan from day one of your employment. Novo Nordisk pays 10 per cent of your salary to your pension plan and you must pay 5 per cent. In addition, Novo Nordisk pays for the insurance plans PFA Life (including children's pension), PFA Critical Illness and PFA Health Insurance.

As a starting point, you will be covered by a basic insurance package and your savings will be placed in the market rate environment in investment profile B. You can adjust your insurance cover and change your investment profile to match your specific wishes and needs.

How you get started

You will receive a pension summary immediately after you have entered into your new job. In the pension summary, you can see how much is paid into your pension plan as, and you can see your investment profile and your insurance cover. You can also get an overview of your pension plan by logging on at mitpfa.dk.

Subsequently, you will receive a digital welcome programme via e-mail. The welcome programme will help you to get a good start with your pension plan. Among other things, you will be asked to enter your contact information, possibly upload your information from PensionsInfo and give your consent to PFA contacting you. The more information you provide, the better recommendations PFA can give you.

Book a pension consultation

We recommend that you spend some time familiarising yourself with your new pension plan. Do you have suitable insurance cover? Does investment profile B reflect your return expectations and risk appetite? Novo Nordisk always recommends that new employees book a pension consultation with PFA to ensure that their pension plan matches their life and needs.
