Have you been absent due to illness for more than 2 weeks?

With PFA EarlyCare, you have access to help and guidance from PFA’s social and healthcare specialists if you are absent due to illness for two weeks or more. PFA will help you clarify your state of health and assess whether early intervention will help you return to work sooner.

Do you need examination, treatment or surgery?

If you are covered by PFA Health Insurance, you have access to quick help if you fall ill, are experiencing pain or get injured. First of all, you need to contact your own doctor, who will assess your need for treatment and refer you to examination, treatment or surgery if necessary.

Then, you contact PFA’s Health Centre at+45 70 24 50 01, where examination and treatment will often be approved immediately over the phone.

Has your occupational capacity been reduced?

If you fall ill and become unable to work, you may qualify for payouts from PFA Occupational Capacity. This requires that your occupational and earnings capacity has been reduced to the extent justifying cover for at least six months. The insurance will be paid out regularly until you reach your retirement age or until your occupational capacity is regained.

Additional support if you fall ill or get injured

PFA is ready to help and support you, so that your health can be improved as quickly as possible. We focus on helping you to keep your current job or return fully or partially to the labour market, and we can for instance offer support when it comes to your contact with the public sector, including your local authorities, to ensure that you receive all relevant offers of treatment, rehabilitation, etc.

Have you been diagnosed with a critical illness?

If you are diagnosed with a critical illness, you may qualify for a tax-free lump sum from PFA Critical Illness. The money can give you some financial breathing space during a difficult period.
